Find Your Bliss And Save Cash

By Cornelius Nunev

Do not feel bad about being useful. It's all part of the work-life balance, with an emphasis on balance. These methods for finding your bliss can be cheap, or even free.

Stay on top of fun

You cannot take everything so seriously around you. You do not have to pay anything to bring a smile to your face or to those faces around you. No matter what the reason, make sure you are laughing all the time.

Do not forget about new things

Even if you watch simply for personal enjoyment, pay attention to the activities of others, activities with which you are not familiar. Rock climbing, Euclidean geometry or playing the piano is all activities that can be fun to view, depending upon your personal proclivities. You do not have to run off and take costly lessons. Be content with observing the pursuits, soaking it in. Pursuing them yourself is for another day and another time.

See the wild in action

You could end up really happy just by listening and observing the insects, reptiles and creatures around you. Listen to the noises that they give, especially in the mornings and evenings.

Check out the park

A park is totally free, generally, and you can head out and love the destination. Bring something to sit on such as a chair or blanket and sit back to watch the sunlight. You can bring a snack to eat also.

Spend time in the hedges

You can find a neighborhood flower garden or greenhouse to walk around in. It is generally free and is a perfect way to enjoy your afternoon. Your town might have a community flower garden you can through.

Cloud formations

This is an easy one to mix with your trip to the park. Observe cloud structures and make an effort to classify the shapes in your mind. You do not have to know what type of cloud it is, but you can choose whether it looks like Wimpy from "Popeye." If you are with friends and family, share your observations and compare.

Being unproductive tip No. 7: Read for pleasure

While finding bliss with mindless television can really be costly (it murders brain cells), reading a book that has nothing at all to do with being an upwardly mobile social climber is not quite so expensive. The same holds true for magazines and relatively long pamphlets, provided they are not job-related. Read for pleasure, not for info.

Being unproductive tip No. 8: Look at old photos

Keep your mind active by looking at old photographs. You can remember the stories related to the photos and get personal enjoyment out of it.

Games to view; not play

Balance your life out instead of always trying to work. You do not have to go as far as benign useful by playing some sort of sport. Instead, you need to just watch the sport for a little while. Watching the game can help you relax and enjoy yourself some more.

Being lazy tip No. 10: Wade or walk

Again, these are things that could be accomplished in the park, although at the river, ocean or walking trail also works. Take off your shoes and feel water and sand between your toes. Let the cool be. You aren't being productive, and that's fine. Continue your path by walking at dusk. Observe the changes in the light. Work, bills and other obligations can wait, for a time.
