There will be less paper files to store and more digital files to take care of. Your filing system should take all of that into consideration.

The drawers must be organized as well. For the items you will store in the drawers, they should be stored together with other stuff they are used frequently. Sticky notes together with notepads or stamps together with envelopes. Get a drawer organizer for small items like tacks and paper clips as well. If you have personal items, then you better allocate a personal drawer for them.

The mail will normally come every day, especially if your business is a good one. These mail should not be left to pile up. As soon as you receive the mail, you must sort them out. Take out and read the mail with the highest priority. One the other hand, throw out those mail that has nothing to do with your business.
